In the book the Ultimate Rottweiler on the section about Rottweilers in Australia there is a photo of Ormslee Product Herald who is the Great-Great Grandfather of the puppies mum - Bailifscourt Out 'n' About aka Promise
He is on the right hand side in the photo below.
We travelled to Auckland on Saturday to see the pups. We flew up early in the morning at about 8am and flew back at 5pm so a quick trip to Auckland.
We were met by Lyn and her family at the airport - the weather was rather wet but we did not care too much about that as we had better things to think about today.
We were meeting the puppies - all 10 of them and of course their mum Promise.
The photo above is Promise with part of her litter, the rest are hanging off the other side.
Promise is a stunning Bitch with an extremely good nature. She did not mind us picking up her puppies.
Pam's first touch of a puppy - she is overjoyed.
Time fro some food - the photo is pretty bad but I will blame it on the rain!
The food in the bowl is softened Hills Science diet large puppy breed - lucky because that is what I bough a big bag (18kg) of from Animates for $99 which is 1/3 off the normal price.
At least we will know they will like it.
What we all do after a feed.... Time for a rest.... Ah.....
Big thanks to Lyn and her family for picking us up and dropping us back to the Airport, it was and is very much appreciated and of course for having us there all day.
Now the hard part - we have to wait until the 4th of January until we find out which puppies we will receive. We have put our preferences in but we will wait and see until that day arrives.....
Not long now - only 15 days......
We have been looking for a couple of Rottweiler puppies to replace our recently departed friends.
We came across Bailifscourt Rottweilers who have recently had a litter and we have arranged to purchase two puppies. We are going to fly to Auckland on December 17 to view the pups and to make the hard decision of choosing our new friends.
Below are some details of the Sire and Dam who have had the litter.
